In the FUE hair transplantation method, you should give time to your skin for the healing section and this can take 6 to 12 months. But when healing is done, transplanted follicles begin to grow. So, it is a time taking process but is it permanent?
We can say that yes it is permanent. The growth of hair follicles is stable. There is no way to back hair follicles from their previous position. But like the rest of your hair follicles, the transplanted ones have a lifespan. At some point, they may gradually stop producing as much hair as they used to.
Bottom line is, Follicular Unit Extraction (FUE) hair transplant method is permanent but like healthy hair follicles, they have a lifetime.
